Tesla earnings prick back in half of as demand falls | BBC News

Tesla has viewed its earnings bigger than halve this twelve months, and says this can bring forward the beginning of latest devices after asserting thousands of job cuts to are trying and reverse its fortunes.

The electrical car maker mentioned on Tuesday it had made $1.13bn (£910m) over the first three months of the twelve months, compared with $2.51bn a twelve months earlier.

Tesla, owned and plug by the billionaire Elon Musk, mentioned it would possibly maybe axe bigger than 6,000 jobs at its sites in Texas and California.

The corporate has suffered from falling demand and competition from more cost-effective Chinese language imports which has led its stock place to collapse by 43% over 2024.
